First a big thank you to Keysight Technologies (was Agilent Technologies and before that Hewlett Packard) for providing so much information on obsolete Hewlett Packard equipment. An essential internet technical resource for operating and maintaining HP test equipment.
There are some excellent forums for Hewlett Packard, LeCroy and Tektronix equipment, which provide lots of information and help with troubleshooting specific problems. Check out Yahoo Groups and Groups.io
Equipment manuals are often available for free download in .pdf format from search engines such as Google.
I have also had very good service from Artek Manuals with their ftp downloads.
Although expensive, GLK Instruments manufacture test equipment inter-connecting cables of good quality.
